Labour Department's Pilot Rehabilitation Programme for Employees Injured at Work to cease accepting applications starting from 23 September 2025
The three-year "Pilot Rehabilitation Programme for Employees Injured at Work" (Pilot Programme) launched by the Labour Department on 23 September 2022 will be concluded on 22 September 2025 as originally scheduled. The Work Injury Rehabilitation Office (WIRO) will cease accepting applications from 23 September 2025, but will continue to operate for a period to provide services to the cases admitted before this date that still require rehabilitation treatment and follow up under the Pilot Programme. If eligible injured employees who have not yet joined but want to participate in the Pilot Programme, please call 2293-7000 or visit WIRO in person on or before 22 September 2025, so that the office can follow up.
